He is co-author of official Microsoft courses on Administering and Developing SQL Server, as well as author of the Lucient training “Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning for SQL Server”. He is also co-author of the “Upgrade Technical Reference Guide” and Technical Editor of Microsoft Press books. As a trainer, consultant and speaker, his focus is on Performance Tuning, T-SQL programming and High Availability, where he works internationally.

 

Karol Papaj

Trainer & Author

Karol Papaj, MCTS and former SQL Server MVP, is a mentor with Lucient since 2006. Karol is specializing in Relational Engine and Business Intelligence in SQL Server with focus on Performance Tuning and High Availability. He has been working with SQL Server since SQL Server 6.5 and participates in many projects for IT/Telco companies and companies from the banking industry in Slovakia. Besides mentoring and consulting Karol regularly speaks at conferences organizing by Microsoft and at community events in Slovakia and neighboring countries and teaching Lucient’s SQL Server courses.
